Just got of the phone with our Karen co-worker.  Our guy just came back from ET inside Burma.

The DKBA (Democratic Karen Buddhist Army) is on the way to attack the 4000 people in this IDP camp, called ET. The camp is  already surrounded by the Burmese Army. We have an orphanage  in this camp (Shekinah Home) counts 35 children. We are trying to get the little ones out this week!! ( we already took some little ones out earlier this year).There are about 3 or 4 kids under the age of 4 years old, they just arrived in our orphanage about 1 week ago. Their father was burned/shot, mother died in the forrest when they were fleeing.

Please, pray for wisdom and that we can hear God’s voice and His direction in all of this. Our orphanage is build at the edge of the camp, the closets to be attacked! All of our children are sleeping with little bags of rice, just in case the need to flee they have some food with them. I just can not imagine the fear and danger they are facing.

We are preparing for another “Exodus” of Karen refugees coming into Thailand. I will be in the border area this weekend.

Uphold Christian refugees from Iraq who have fled to Jordan and pray for those who minister to them. Pray that those who feel isolated because of their faith will find other brothers and sisters in Christ to encourage them as they walk with the Lord together.
