Children's Ministries

The goal of our Children's Ministries:

SHARE the gospel of Jesus Christ with our children - Matthew 18:14

GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - 2 Peter 3:18

REACH other children with the gospel of Jesus Christ - Matthew 28:19

SERVE other children with the love of Jesus Christ - 1 Peter 4:10

The Children's Ministries at Crossroads Christian Fellowship aim to lovingly guide and equip

Small group study allows us to study God's Word at a comfortable pace, and it gives us the
opportunity to improve our relationship with our Lord.
It also allows us the chance to get to know our friends, make new relationships, and uphold and
encourage each other during our time together.
If you are looking for a home Bible study or you would like to participate in a home group in the
mid-valley or south-valley, please contact us for more information.

BENEVOLENCE MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to reach out with God's love to those in our community and
fellowship who have an emergency need that we are able to assist with.

The Benevolence Ministry has helped individuals buy gas for their car, provided them with a
night's lodging, helped with their rent payment, electric bill, or medical need.

We work in conjunction with other churches in the valley and with the Salvation Army.

It is our hope that in doing this, it will encourage people to know that they are not alone and to
show them that God loves and cares for them.

Benevolence Ministry
PRAYER CHAIN MINISTRY

The Prayer Chain is a ministry designed to begin a chain reaction of prayers in a time of need.

The Prayer Chain is available to be used by anyone who wishes prayer for themselves, their
friends and loved ones, or for any situation they are aware of that would benefit by having
prayers placed before the Lord.
This prayer chain is conducted via e-mail, which works exceptionally well as people pray
throughout the day as they open their e-mails.
However, if you do not have e-mail or if your prefer to receive and give these requests by
phone, just let us know.

Over 45 families are involved in our prayer chain, and we invite you to join us.
PRAYER GROUP

We meet to pray for our church service, our church families, and leadership.
We also encourage special or private prayer (not necessarily on the prayer chain) by filling out
a prayer request card found in the basket in the church foyer, so we can pray in one accord for
your specific needs.
Everyone is welcome!

Sundays, 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM
FOREIGN MISSIONS in South East Asia and in Belize

Missions are a big part of Crossroads ministry. We now support two missionary families full
time overseas. We work with Vision Beyond Borders (VBB) to minister in South East Asia
and Islamic countries.

Recently, we have partnered with Praying Pelicans in Belize and are investing our people and
resources in the church for the purpose of sharing the Gospel, helping the poor, disciple
fellow believers in their Christian walk and participating in construction projects.

Following is a list of the projects we are involved in. Perhaps, you can utilize your spiritual gifts
to help.

JAVA FOR MISSIONS

"Equip the church with God's Word for Service"

Java for Missions is our coffee bar located in the fellowship room of Crossroads.
This ministry was developed for the sole purpose of supporting poverty-stricken and
orphaned children in third world countries.
All proceeds go to feed, house, and teach them about God's love.
The coffee bar is open before and after service.

Share the Gospel with the lost - Matthew 28:19

Care for and show kindness to the persecuted widows and orphans - James 1:27, Hebrews 13:1-3

"For I was hungry and you gave me
something to eat; I was thirsty and you
gave me something to drink; I was a
stranger and you invited me in; I needed
clothes and you clothed me; I was sick
and you looked after me"
Matthew 25:35-36
MANNA MEALS

Manna Meals is a ministry which seeks to meet the basic needs of the families in our church
who are struggling or going through a difficult time.
We arrange home cooked meals to be made and brought to these families to encourage
them, offer support and a little rest.

We believe that this ministry demonstrates the loving care of Christ to our church families,
and at the same time, allows many to employ their God-given gifts and talents to minister to,
and build up, the Body of Christ.
COUNSELING

Crossroads has developed into a counseling center for many.
Some come here by referral; others come from our own fellowship.
Because of the growing number of broken people around us, God has moved us to do
what we can through continuing education in Bible based marriage and family centered
materials. The objective is to help motivate and move people by the power of the Holy
Spirit to CHANGE.

With the high number of broken marriages around us, we will continue to support
conferences and offer whatever resources we can to help couples grow in their marriage.
We truly believe that the Christian couples should bear the image of God, to enjoy oneness
together, and to carry a legacy for others to see.
