What can I expect of the sermon?
At Crossroads we are committed to preaching God's word. We feel this is best done by preaching expositionally through each book of the Bible. This approach to preaching allows us to base our preaching on the topic dictated by Scripture and to draw our principles and applications for life directly from God's revelation. Occasionally we find it necessary to address a topic for special circumstances. In both cases we approach the Scriptures with the utmost care and integrity and ultimately rely on the Holy Spirit for illumination.
What can I expect of music & worship?
Crossroads is home to a wide variety of people who prefer to worship in a variety of ways. As such, our music ranges from traditional hymns to contemporary worship songs. We are careful, however, that our worship songs are rooted in solid theology and glorify our great God. Some in our congregation lift their hands in praise while others enjoy standing or sitting during worship .
How do you dress?
Some dress casual and others prefer more formal attire. We at Crossroads realize that many generations are represented in our congregation with many different socio-economic backgrounds and only ask that people dress appropriately and in accordance with their conscience.
